He is a member of the Tun Abdul Razak School of Government Student Association and the Toastmasters at his school. Outside of school, he actively participates in programmes such as Akademi Parlimen and PELITA that focus on policy, economics, and democracy. His team won the top policy pitch in the MY Policy Bootcamp 2022, which was organised by IRDP and the US Embassy. Shaik’s role in INITIATE.MY is focused on the updates for Database on Cases of Tensions and Conflicts Motivated by Religious Hatred and Racism from 2021 – 2023. He also produced a preliminary research along with co-researcher on extremist contents found on TikTok during the most recent 15th General Elections.
