
Irdina is a Program Associate at INITIATE.MY. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Laws (Honours) at the University of Malaya, with a deep interest in human rights, public policy, and strategic litigation. She is a Fellow of the Advoc8 Legal Affairs Fellowship Programme, where she advocates on issues related to trafficking-in-persons (TIP), and gained practical insights into access to justice and anti-trafficking efforts.
Beyond her legal pursuits, Irdina is passionate about the role of media in strengthening democratic governance. She is committed to fostering dialogue on the intersection of law, media, gender equality, and public policy. She has authored an article examining Malaysia’s efforts to advance gender equality through constitutional reform.
Outside of work and studies, she volunteers with youth-led NGOs to help bridge the education gap, alongside advocating for animal welfare causes.
