About

The Knowledge Hub is a collaborative initiative led by about 15 expert practitioners from Malaysian civil society organisations (CSOs), launched during the Luminate Foundation Convening in November 2024. It aims to address the abuse of technology, foster trust among CSOs, and provide evidence-based tools for advocacy in this rapidly evolving digital landscape.The hub operates in two key components:

• Virtual Hub

A digital repository offering data, analysis, and resources on digital threats such as disinformation, extremist narratives, online scams, child exploitation and cyber harassment.

• Physical Hub

A dedicated collaborative space for workshops and discussions, enabling deeper engagement on digital threats and policy strategies to address them effectively.
