She is a Researcher at INITIATE.MY, contributing to the ASEAN Institute for Peace and Reconciliation regional study on Youth, Peace and Security, with a focus on youth radicalisation. A Singaporean, she is an entrepreneur, project manager, and creative producer, as well as an aspiring educator. Her work sits at the intersection of youth, digital culture, and gaming communities, exploring how young people engage, govern, and lead in emerging spaces. With experience across industry, non-profit, and research contexts, she brings both academic and practical insight. Joy holds a First Class Honours BA in Communication and is currently pursuing postgraduate research.
