Zulaikha is a Project Officer at INITIATE.MY, where she oversees the coordination of initiatives across the organisation’s core focus areas. In this role, she works closely with a wide range of stakeholders, including civil society organisations, academic institutions, and government agencies, to deepen engagement on peace and security issues.
She holds an LLB in Politics, Philosophy and Law from King’s College London. Prior to joining INITIATE.MY, she spent three years in corporate sustainability at CIMB, focusing on sustainability reporting, stakeholder engagement, and advancing the Group’s Business and Human Rights agenda. During her tenure, she contributed to the rollout of a rights-based Human Rights Grievance Mechanism and led the Group’s human rights saliency assessment. She remains committed to promoting inclusivity and strengthening rights-based approaches within broader institutional reform efforts.
